Martin Hunt

Martin Hunt, designed this cup and saucer in around 1985 for the Rosenthal Porcelain Factory in Selb, Bavaria. Hunt (born 1942, died 2018) became a partner in the Queensbury Hunt Design Group in 1966, and began to design pieces for Rosenthal in 1979 The cup and saucer are made of set of white porcelain, decorated with transfer-printed patterns. It stands on four ball feet in purple, pink, blue, and aqua, and has a D-shaped handle embellished with transfer-printed lines. A spherical purple ball is positioned between the cup’s rim and the top of the handle. Signed and marked
